PRESENTS
EXPLORING JUDAISM

TUESDAYS, STARTING FEBRUARY 16th ON ZOOM 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

About the Class

Exploring Judaism is a course for people of all backgrounds - Jews who want to learn more about their religion and heritage, community members who want to learn more about their Jewish friends and family, and people who want to walk on the path towards Judaism. One of the most wonderful aspects of Judaism is that we love questions, so please don’t hesitate to email Rabbi Sydni (rabbi@agudathshreveport.com) with any queries or insights you might have between classes. And of course, we’ll have lots of time to discuss and wonder during our meetings.

In each class, we’ll use different modalities of learning, including lecture, group work, study in pairs (havruta, in Hebrew), and individual writing. At certain points throughout the course, Rabbi Sydni will challenge you to attend events or holiday services in the Jewish community.

Each class, we will use On One Foot: An Intro to Judaism Coursebook, edited by Rabbi Adam Greenwald of American Jewish University, to guide our learning. I look forward to exploring Judaism with you!

To join our learning, please contact Rabbi Sydni:
